Kerri,
You probably don’t have any idea how much you are loved by this whole town. Like your Uncle Charles, your life is woven though the fabric of the entire community. Your anonymous, tireless, self-less acts have not gone unnoticed over the years. We have witnessed your dedicated service to your family, your church, the library, Keep Munday Beautiful, the school, and your leadership as a booster for every school activity and sport. Whenever something needs to be done, someone will say, “Call Kerri.” And you have answered with an endless amount of energy, talent, and purpose. God bless you for all you have done for so many people. Your handprint is on the flowers you’ve tended to and the improvements you’ve made in Centennial Park. They’re on the walls and shelves of the City County library, and they will be on the loving gifts of bounty on Jeffrey’s table. But most importantly, your handprints are on the hearts of every small child who has ever had the privilege of having you as a teacher. You have raised three fine sons whom we all love and Aaryn Jae is blessed to have you as her grandmother. God holds you in the palm of His hand and He loves you even more than we do. We will continue to think of you and pray for you daily. Love, Karen

Kerri, there are no words to express what you mean to this community. Kerri, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am praying for complete healing for you, and believing that it is taking place, as I write this note to you. God is good, and he holds each of his children in his hand. Hold tight to him as you heal.

Kerri, you are indeed a servant, and have been a servant to the entire town of Munday. I remember so well that you were the first one at my door when we took Doug to the hospital, and you stayed and closed my house for me. Thank you for your kindness.

Kerri, you will continue to be in my prayers, as your body continues to get stronger and heal.

In Christian love,

I just wanted your whole family to know i am praying for them. My husband Chad Tolson was diagnosed with nmda receptor encephalitis in september after two months of test after test. The outcome according to the doctors didnt look good but we never gave up hope. We are now in the mending process of this and i wont say it is an easy one or very fast but we are moving forward. So when times are tough and you feel like it is too hard remember doctors are not GOD. We are praying for a recovery and for the doctors to have the knowledge to figure this out for ya'll.

I will listen closely to God's words. I will not let them out of my sight--I will keep them within my heart, for they are life to all who find them and health for the whole body--Proverbs 4:20-22 (NIV)Kerri, Praying and believing and continously lifting you to the Throne.....Our God is a "big" God and I know He is bigger than this. You have touched so many children's hearts. You made it so easy for them on their first experience with school....Kobe was so anxious about starting Pre-K. He had not ever been around many people other than Jimmy and I. ... I didn't even realize until now, and Kobe just told me yesterday when we were talking about you. By the way he loves you so much. He said Momma you know how scared I was when I started to school.....Well Mrs. Urbanczyk made me not be scared anymore, I love her. God "is" in control and He loves you very much, and so do I....God bless you sweet friend...Hugs, Carlene

Barbara and I are speechless and torn over what you and Mike and family must be going thru.

When we got my news, we claimed a scripture we've claimed over the years stateside and in Nigeria--Proverbs 3: 5-6, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding; in all thy ways trust in Him and He will direct thy paths.'

When our way has looked the worst, and when it's been the worst, Jesus has been there for us, even if the results were not what we had wished. None of our diseases are from the Lord, we know that. We may live in a fallen world, but the world we really know and sense is not fallen; like Jesus, it is risen, and no matter what comes at us, Jesus will prevail and you will be an overcomer. Like Moses told his people, in Ex. 14: 13, 'Don't be afraid, stand firm, and see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.' Today may be a 'baby step', but it'll have 'My Deliverer' stamped on the step. Such words as these are the only encouragement that has sustained us in these days of battle. May they sustain you, too! My first thought of each day, and my last thought each night is of you and your family. Never mind the countless moments I stop and pray. I know they tell you how this thing goes... I am praying that you do not fit the description of this disease. I am praying for clarity, strength, and hope. I am praying that you get little miracles here and there throughout the day.

Other people have already said what I want you to know. I feel the same about how amazing you are. I think you know that.

I guess, I wish I could make you laugh...

Psl 56:8 You number KERRI'S wanderings; Put HER tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?

9 When I cry out to You, Then HER enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for HER.

10 In God (I will praise His word), In the LORD (I will praise His Lord),

11 In God WE have put OUR trust; SHE will not be afraid. What can man do to HER?

12 Vows made to You are binding upon HER, O God; WE will render praises to You,

13 ... deliver HER soul from death. Have You not kept HER feet from falling, That SHE may walk before you, God. In the light of the living?

Psalm 57

1 Be merciful to HER, O God, be merciful to THEM! For THEIR soulS trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings THEY will make THEIR refuge, Until these calamities have passed by.

2 I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for HER.

God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.

Kerri,

We have been back home in Munday for 13 years. Homer and I found it difficult to wait until we got back here. So much had changed which wasn't surprising after being away for 43 years. But there are certain elements in the life of a small town that should never change...loyalty, integrity, pride in yourself and your town, being trustworthy. You have been the epitome of all these plus more. We've probably never expressed our admiration of you but we've watched you being the model that we all need. We believe in miracles and pray for you and your family. We thank God that He is in control!!

As a former M.O.M- mom of a mogul- I know firsthand how much you did for the teams, kids, and fellow teachers as they passed through those halls of the school.I also know how much you meant to my kids- Justin and Kalee- when we were living back home. You blessed them so much and now to repay you, we will pray daily for your healing and for your family's strength. Take care and keep the faith.

Kerri, what a rock you have been to our church and to our town both as a Baker and as an Urbanzyck. Kerri, watching you be involved in so many things to make Munday better has been an inspiration. You quietly moved from one project to another, doing so many things for so many. There are people you touched that many of us will never know about. It is not your wait to speak your own praises, so may we do it for you! You are loved more than you know and we pray for you and your family from morning to night that God's comforting touch will be with you. We love you, Kerri! Jamie and Debbie Welborn

With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair."

Even in this, there is HOPE.

Happy Birthday!

I've admired your life from afar for years now. We don't really 'know' one another, but in a small town everyone knows everyone right?

Funny how I don't feel comfortable paying you a visit at your home, but I'm daily visiting this page and praying for you.

I feel a closeness to your through the kids. You have impacted so many. And I want you to know that I'm asking God for words, strength and incite as I minister to their blank stares, probing questions and thoughtful comments at Hiz Kiz each week.

I've explained to them that I'm praying for your complete healing THIS side of Heaven.(Jas 1:6, Jas 4:3 and Mk 11:22-24) I've even been bold enough to tell them that because of JESUS in your life that you are not scared of death. That it is a WIN/WIN situation.

Please know that the children had so much fun visiting you while trick or treating. They told me ALL their stories. One even told me that you are going to Heaven, 'yes she is and so am I...are you?' was my reply.

I'm especially fond of Steven and our time we shared at Youth. He's on my mind a lot. Anna and Aleeya are, too. They are so brave. And so are you!

Have a beautiful day! You are treasured by many, but most importantly HIM.
