Friends and Family of Jeffrey Urbanczyk are having a memorial feast in his honor free to the public. We will deliver and serve anyone who wants to join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11 am to 1:30 pm. We will also have carry-out. Please contact the Methodist Church to help or sign up for delivery. It will be a wonderful and special day for all of us. Kerri was working hard on this before she was diagnosed. We will see this through in memory of Jeffrey and in Honor of Kerri.

About Grieving

As you know, this past 12 months has been very difficult for all of us in Munday. It seems as though we had more than our fair share of tragedies. Like some of you, I struggle with how to respond to someone who is in the deep process of grieving. Sometimes our good intentions backfire. Sometimes we avoid people because we are at a loss for words. Please read the following article (link) if you are like me and need to understand better what and what not to do or say. One thing I know, the last thing a grieving family wants is for their loved one to be forgotten. This is why we are working so hard to honor and memorialize those who have passed... it helps to heal by remembering... and tears are good for the soul.
